This piece was written for my Civic Reporting class I took in 2024 where the class had to focus on something civic. I wanted to write about something for sports, and while this class was going on, so was the ball hockey season. I attended games, interviewed a team captain about their experience in the league and also did some research into the ball hockey community. I was responsible for reporting, editing, writing and conducting interviews (and follow up interviews) for the piece.
